LezenDo you find reading in Dutch difficult?

Does your child struggle with reading? Sometimes this is related to dyslexia, but that's not always the case. Children learn at their own pace and in their own way, and this also applies to reading. It sometimes takes time to master this.

From spelling words to reading a sentence

As a parent, you don't always have the opportunity to guide your child in learning to read. The pace at school is too fast for your child. I help children by practicing at their own pace and level. Together, we read a book that suits their age and interests. I help with spelling if there are difficult words, so that individual letters eventually become a flowing word. Or I explain what words mean.

Support with reading for adults

Reading can also be difficult for adults. I can help you learn to read. We start by reading in simple language. When we read together, you can be yourself. We look at the things you find difficult. This way, you will gradually gain more confidence in reading.

What do you want to learn?

- Read a book and understand difficult words
- Read and understand long sentences
- Read a recipe when cooking
- Read information on a website
- Write a letter or email
- Better understand things you read every day
